With 40 years of experience in the Mechanical & Electrical sector Ian has extensive experience in the technological changes throughout this period: from holding the Royal Warrant for the Queen Mother as a Heating Equipment Engineer, moving the royal estates from coal to gas at Clarence House and The Royal Lodge at Windsor Castle in the 1980s, to being involved in the latest power to gas technologies involving hydrogen and synthetic methane production in Germany. Ian’s first solar thermal & PV installations were in 1992 followed by heat pumps in 2001 with the first trials for the Carbon Trust. In 2007 Ian started a specialist renewable company contracting for the “big six” … EON, Honeywell etc amongst others specialising in combined heat and power (CHP) along with all renewable technologies. From 2013 Ian was an engineering solutions manager for the largest single branded heating & power solutions manufacturer in Europe, working on some of the most prestigious multi technology renewable projects covering all sectors in the UK. Joining ReEnergise in 2025, Ian brings his unique experience not only to the ReEnergise team but most importantly to the ReEnergise clients.
